What a year! It was only just over a year ago that PEM held its first ever workshop in Australia. And now, with the last set of workshops complete, we are beyond excited to be setting up a permanent base here in Melbourne in 2018, offering Australian actors a unique biological method of training that guarantees a safe access to direct, effortless and authentic emotions. In 2018, the PEM International Office plans travels to India, Japan, Romania, Turkey, Spain and New Zealand as well as setting up a new branch with term classes, 3- months programs and one-year acting programs in Melbourne, Australia. Rekha John-Cheriyan used to work as Senior Producer at the BBC before pursuing her dream to become an actress. She now works as a full-time professional actress in London in various theatre and film projects, such as the feature film 'Tomb Raider‘ to be released in 2018. So good to return to the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in Perth for our first PEM intensive workshop series around Australia! Thank you to the dedicated and courageous actors who took part in the intense four-day workshop and was held by PEM Master Instructor Sarah Victoria and Australian PEM Representative Rik Stowman.
