Mattias Inwood trains PEM

PEM Master Instructor Sarah Victoria worked with New Zealand actor Mattias Inwood on his role for the upcoming Netflix series Tidelands. Japanese guest at PEM Studios Melbourne

PEM at NZ Drama Conference

NZ PEM Representative Jon Hunter presented a bursting-at-the-seams workshop today at the Drama NZ conference in Auckland. The workshop - 'The Physiology of Emotion: Working with the body to give safe access to authentic emotion in performance’ - introduced a lively audience of drama teachers, directors and performing arts practitioners from across NZ and Australia to the Perdekamp Emotional Method. The theme of this year’s conference is 'He Ngākau Ngahau: A Joyful Heart’ - an environment ripe for starting meaningful conversations and introducing new ways of working consciously and conscientiously with emotion in performance. #2018DNZConf

PEM Master Instructor Sarah Victoria spent three weeks in New Zealand to teach acting students at the National Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School as well as opera singers at the National School of Music in Wellington. Additional public PEM workshops were held in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington. Overall we introduced more than 130 actors, opera singers, musicians, directors, parents, teachers and therapists to the Perdekamp Emotional Method. PEM in Romania

This week, PEM was part of the 19th Youth Theatre Festival of the German State Theatre in Timisoara, Romania. It is a festival where German-speaking actors from Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Ukraine and Germany participate to present their newest productions and celebrate the arts.
