What an extraordinary tour of New Zealand and Australia!

Starting at New Zealand’s National Drama School Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, PEM creator and director Stephan Perdekamp, voice coach Kristina Heuer, and Master Instructor Sarah Victoria spent two full weeks with the first and second-year acting students sharing the knowledge of PEM and watching the incredible transformations that occur when dedication meets craft and inspiration!

The weekend workshops in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch were outstanding. Such gratitude to PEM New Zealand Representative Jon Hunter for his hospitality and organization and to Vaughan Slinn for his passion. Thank you to all the tutors and heads of department at Toi Whakaari and also the New Zealand School of Dance for their openness to experience PEM! The Goethe-Institut, the German Cultural Institute worldwide, was incredibly supportive and we look forward to forging a deeper relationship with them!

Our next destination was in Australia where Master Instructor Sarah Victoria was hosted and supported incredibly by Kim Krejus and 16th Street Actors Studio. The workshops in Sydney and Melbourne were life-changing for many and deep work and knowledge was experienced and shared. New relationships were also forged at the first Australian business workshop.

The tour culminated with a foundation workshop at NIDA, National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney, which was a terrific way to finish. That is until October/November of course when PEM will return stronger and ready to share even more knowledge!

Thank you again Jon Hunter, Vaughan Slinn, Toi Whakaari, the Goethe Institute, Kim Krejus, Sonny Beycher, 16th Street Actor’s Studio, John Bashford and NIDA.

We very much look forward to sharing our knowledge with you again near the end of 2017!
