ABOUT THE 3-DAY WORKSHOP

We’re excited to offer special 3-day workshops exploring PEM’s groundbreaking approach to acting. Designed for actors seeking a more reliable approach to emotional performance, this workshop introduces our hallmark method for physically accessing authentic emotion – without relying on personal memories or psychological strain. Through carefully developed body-focused exercises, you’ll unlock your instrument, overcome personal restrictions, and expand your emotional range.

You’ll also explore practical application to text, emotional transitions and mixtures, group exercises, and techniques for cultivating physical presence. Train your instrument to be open, responsive, and emotionally available, equipping yourself with the tools to create powerful, repeatable performances for stage and screen.

Beyond performance, PEM offers a holistic approach to emotional awareness and artistic growth, helping you refine your craft while safeguarding your wellbeing.

HEAR FROM OUR STUDENTS

I used to think crying on demand required emotional pain or reliving trauma, but this class proved otherwise. From the very first session, I cried multiple times through a clear, step-by-step technique—without forcing anything or hurting myself emotionally. It’s a trainable, repeatable skill, and I’m excited to keep building it.

Extremely transformative, insightful, and inspiring workshop! Sarah Victoria led us through the six basic emotions and more advanced mixture of them with grace and precision. I was impressed with the depth of knowledge she brought with her 20 years of experience and the clarity of her instruction. I had so many of my questions answered about the method and have many new valuable resources at my disposal for my craft. What a wonderful new wave of acting we are heading into. Thank you so much!

PEM was completely unlike anything I’d ever experienced before. I found the ability to exist in my body with very little to intellectualize exhilarating and a promising addition to my tools.

The container that Sarah and Blake created to delve deeper into PEM was a space where I could dive fully into, feeling seen and wholeheartedly cared for. PEM continues to astound me with its well of access into the most primal and intimate parts of myself, while threading into a knowing that the ensemble I’m with is deepening our connection as we collectively explore our shared humanity.

The experience that I received from PEM was something I’ve never experienced before, to be taught the levels of the emotions of the human being. Knowing that there’s a safe way to let the emotions move your impulses and choices as an artist.
