The Film “My Mother’s Forest”, with PEM trained actress Georgia Watson, will be screened at Cannes Short Film Corner at this year’s Festival de Cannes.
The film, directed by Bruce Alexander, starring Georgia Watson and Jonathan Sidgwick, already won “Award of Excellence” and “Best Screenplay” at other international short film festivals.
For this film, producer and writer Georgia Watson trained and prepared with PEM Master Instructor and actress Sarah Victoria.
“My Mother’s Forest” is not only Georgia Watson’s debut as film actress, producer and writer, it is also the first film project in the UK ever made with the support of PEM.
Therefore we are very proud that this film achieved so much recognition already.
PEM artists Watson and Victoria will attend the Festival de Cannes to promote the film, which is shot entirely in Lithuanian, due to the origin of the story.
