ABOUT PEM INTENSIVE II
In this Level II workshop, you will build on the foundation laid in PEM Intensive I as you explore more deeply the nuances of your innate emotional system. PEM Master Instructor Sarah Victoria will guide you through further clarifying your instrument, helping you move to a place where the physical emotional access becomes more seamless and integrated.
Further investigate the creative possibilities of PEM emotion work as you learn to combine the Six Basic Emotions to create complex and intriguing Emotional Mixtures. You can think of the Six Basic Emotions like primary colours – they can be mixed and combined to create any emotion in the human experience. You will learn some common mixtures and also play and experiment with creating your own. This exciting aspect of our training will open up an infinite palette of emotional states with which to craft authentic performances.
Additionally, you will learn to apply the emotion work to text, opening up a whole new world of creative possibilities. This workshop is perfect for actors looking to refine and deepen their craft and emotional access.
