Terms and Conditions
Physical Health
By booking a service with Kalliso Australia Pty Ltd, you agree that, to the very best of your knowledge, you are in good physical condition and that you have informed your coach of any physical limitation, health concern or injury that would be aggravated by physical activity, or which make you susceptible to injury. While our number one priority is the health and safety of every participant and we strongly practice duty of care at every level, any physical activity presents varying degrees of risks. By participating, you do so at your own risk and do not hold Kalliso Australia Pty Ltd liable for any injury caused.
Program Changes
Kalliso Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to change and alter any course, workshop or private teaching details as is required, but will always do so with reasonable prior notice.
Payment
Registrations cannot be processed without payment. We are unable to hold your place in a course or workshop without receiving payment. For private bookings, payment is required to secure your booking. For bookings made within a closer timeframe, if payment hasn’t been received by 24 hours prior to your session, your session will be cancelled.
Cancellations
Cancellations for private sessions must be provided a minimum of 24 hours prior to your booking start time. Refunds will not be available for cancellations received within 24 hours of the event start date, or for non-attendance. In the case of a no-show, our instructors will wait up to 15 minutes for you to arrive. If you have not contacted us or attended your session by that point, we will assume your session cancelled and you will not be eligible for a refund.
Course Refunds
To cancel your enrollment in a course, you must notify Kalliso Australia Pty Ltd directly via email, with sufficient notice. Cancellations made within 14 days of the course start time will incur a $20 AUD processing fee. Cancellations must be made no later than 48 hours before the course start date. After this period, no cancellations, refunds, or course fee adjustments will be accepted, and the full course fee will be due. This policy also applies to absences without proper notice. If the course fee has already been paid and the cancellation is made before the 48-hour deadline, the credit may be applied to a future course, or, upon request, refunded. Late registrations do not qualify for any course fee reductions. No refunds will be issued once the course has commenced.
Course Attendance
A minimum of 80% attendance is required to advance to the next course level. If you miss a session, we strongly encourage you to book a make-up session at your own cost to stay on track with content and progress. Missing more than one session will require you to schedule a make-up session, also at your own expense, in order to continue with the course. Our courses are highly collaborative, and each group works closely together, so consistent absences can impact not only your development but also the progress of the entire group. We kindly ask that you prioritize attendance and please be in touch as early as possible if you need to miss a session.
Workshop Cancellations & Refunds
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy, meaning cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the workshop start time to avoid forfeiture of the workshop fee. Any cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop will incur a $20 AUD administration fee. Please note, once the workshop has commenced, partial refunds are not available for any missed segments. We encourage all participants to attend the full workshop to ensure they get the most out of the experience.
Transferring
Transferring or substitution of your registration to another participant will be accepted when provided in writing prior to the event start date. To request a transfer or substitution the full name and contact details of the new participant must be provided in writing at least 24 hours prior to the event. One transfer or substitution is permissible at no charge.
Postponement
There may be circumstances in which we need to postpone the workshop, course or session. If this situation arises, we shall advise you of this via email as soon as we possibly can. If the postponement is for more than 6 months after the publicised date of the Workshop, you may cancel your ticket by emailing us at [email protected] and we shall provide you with a full refund.
Removal from class
Kalliso Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to remove any participant for the remainder of the course, session or workshop whose unacceptable behaviour disrupts or interferes with the program. No refund is possible under these circumstances.
Liability
Kalliso Australia Pty Ltd is not liable for any accidents, thefts or other damages within the class or workshop, or when traveling to and from the class or workshop. All clients participate at their own risk.
Photography/Videography Waiver
By participating in our workshops or courses, you grant Kalliso Australia Pty Ltd the right to capture photographs and video recordings of you during sessions. These images and recordings may be used for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and other media platforms. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please inform us in writing prior to the start of the workshop or course.
Teaching Kalliso & PEM Techniques
Only Kalliso qualified and certified instructors can teach PEM Techniques. Please do not teach or coach PEM Techniques without express written consent and training from an authorised Kalliso Instructor. The education of this program is for the purpose of your own personal and/or artistic development only and it is explicitly prohibited to instruct or share these exercises unless you are a certified Kalliso Techniques Instructor. This ensures not only the quality of the program but also the safety of those who use it.
